About Me

EnglishMandarin
Hi, I’m Jinghan, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) based in Toronto. I offer therapy in both English and Mandarin.

My therapeutic approach is integrative and client-centered, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I see therapy as a collaborative and trusting relationship where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. Rather than focusing on labels, I aim to understand you as a whole person—your story, your strengths, and what matters most to you.

As someone who has lived and studied across different cultural contexts, I understand how navigating multiple cultures can shape identity, relationships, and emotional experiences. You may find yourself balancing different expectations, values, or ways of expressing emotions—and that can feel both enriching and challenging. I strive to create a space that is culturally responsive, inclusive, and respectful of your unique background and lived experiences.

I am particularly passionate about supporting adolescents and young adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I also have experience working with individuals facing stress related to academic pressure, family dynamics, and cross-cultural identity. In our work together, we can build practical coping strategies, deepen emotional awareness, and move toward meaningful and sustainable change at your own pace.

Starting therapy can feel unfamiliar or even intimidating—but you don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin. You’re welcome to come as you are. I’m here to listen, support, and walk alongside you.
