About Me

EnglishMandarin
Emily is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). She specializes in supporting clients navigating depression, anxiety, burnout, chronic stress, self-esteem challenges, people-pleasing patterns, life transitions, neurodivergence, and other emotional and relational concerns.

Having lived across cultures, Emily understands that identity is shaped by the intersections of culture, family, community, relationships, and personal experiences. This perspective informs her commitment to practicing with cultural humility and approaching each client’s story with curiosity, compassion, and openness. She believes that meaningful therapy begins with understanding each person within the context of their unique experiences, values, and the many factors that have shaped who they are.

Emily integrates various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, mindfulness, etc. Emily’s approach is client-centered, strength-based, and trauma-informed. She offers a warm, supportive space where clients can show up as they are, without pressure to have everything figured out. In a fast-paced world, she helps clients slow down, better understand their emotional experiences, and explore pathways for meaningful change.

Together, the work focuses on building self-awareness, strengthening self-compassion, and developing more balanced and sustainable ways of living and relating to others, while supporting you in working toward your goals and recognizing your growth along the way.
